Every year in November, Eindhoven will be all about Light Art Festival GLOW. This year for the 12th time, from 11 until 18 November. An enormous exhibition in public space of 30 famous national and international light artists. The light artworks are connected by a walking route of approximately 6 kilometers which runs through the city center. Besides the light art projects and numerous side-events there are also innovative, unique works of art that are created by young talents that will be exhibited at the industrial NRE site at the main route. The year’s theme is called ‘The Source’. All artists were instructed to create a project based on this theme which already results in a surprising variety of light artworks. The festival is accessible for free. Trees of life was conceptualized, marketed and developed in the span of a year.

‘Do you dare to bond with a tree?’
Trees of Life is an eccentric installation that gives complete control to those who dare to share an experience of their senses. ‘Trees of Life’ connects this city’s green urban nature with Eindhoven’s second nature of Technology and Design. It visualizes the relationship between humans and nature, which is essential to the survival of mankind. The best-kept secret of Eindhoven might be that: This city houses a diversity of trees that is unique to the Netherlands. This strongly influences how the city is experienced. Interaction with ‘Trees of Life’ creates new connections between souls, and this causes people to feel as one with the tree and with mother nature. As a visitor, you become part of this interactive installation.
'Trees of Life' creates bonds through mystical-like experiences.

The story points back the oneness of our souls and our infinite being. Trees of Life derived from the name ‘Tree of life’ which is a concept that has similar meanings in various religions such as The Norse religion Yggdrasil, Wicca, Catholicism, Christianity, Paganism, Celtic religion. The concept has a universal spiritual meaning. The tree of life symbolizes the interconnected nature of everything in the universe. an eternal bonding of the physical realm we are rooted in, and the spiritual realm we are reaching for. The Tree of Life serves as a reminder of our universal connection to the Mother Earth, and our dependence on her to grow and flourish. The story of Trees of Life is one of love, kindness, and oneness with the source of life.
